Description of objectFrance Riberac Dordogne Holiday home in France with private pool. Set in 2 acres of secluded grounds . Two kitchens, two huge living rooms, study, mezzanine, five bedrooms,five bathrooms. Central heating and woodburning stoves. Great for family gatherings or large groupsBriefly the accommodation is: * Two large Sitting rooms * Two fully equipped Kitchens- fridge freezers, microwave, slow cooker, two ovens, dishwasher, washing machines * 5 bedrooms -4 with double beds, one with five singles which can be re-arranged to suit. * Study with new double sofa bed * Five bath or shower rooms (four ensuite) * Double sofa beds 2 (one in second sitting room and one in study) * Huge terrace spanning the back of the house accessible from both halves (about 40 ft by 16 ft narrowing to 6 ft) * Mezzanine * Satellite TV and DVD player * Telephone available The hub of the house is the old kitchen which leads onto both sitting rooms and the huge terrace The second kitchen is in the barn conversion part of the house. and also leads onto the terrace as does the large second sitting room. Two of the bedrooms are accessed by a stair case from one half of the house and the other three bedrooms are accessed from the other staircase. The sixth bedroom doubles as a TV room and is on the ground floor with a shower room next door. There is a large pool (10 metres by 5 metres) set away from the house which complies with french safety regulations and is fenced. BBQ in the garden The house is centrally heated for Christmas lets and has two woodburning stoves Pets by arrangement only One set of bedlinen supplied. Towels available on request with a small charge. Location of objectThe house is made up of two connecting houses which can be let separately. But for larger groups this is ideal as there are two kitchens and two living rooms at your disposal. Plus a huge terrace spanning both properties. Imagine being able to cook separately for the children while grown up dinner is being prepared separately in the second kitchen.This large country house stands in its own sloping grounds of around 2 acres, and although there are neighbours in the hamlet you are not aware of them as the house is at the end of a little lane with no passing traffic. It is a quirky house, full of character. 'Elegantly whacky is how people describe it! It is comfortable but not a 'show house' so you can relax with children there! Having said that, it is also more than just a gite and furnished as a private home, not holiday accommodation. Town: France, Perigord Noir, RiberacRiberac is a bustling market town with one of the best markets in the region every Friday.There are two large supermarkets, numerous boulangeries and local shops. About 5 kilmetres from the house is LAc de Jamaye which has sandy beaches and nack bars. Lots of restaurants in the area serve local food and the speciality of the region - Foie Gras.
