Description of objectAn old stone house from the 1800'th century. Recently the house is totally renovated.
Ground floor: hall, American kitchen, dining, fireplace - all in one room.
1'st floor: Living room, stove, sound system and (with sleeping-couch & 2 separate beds on a mezzanine).
2'nd floor: Shower/WC, bedroom (double bed).
Also a separate 2 rooms studio (double bed, shower/WC, American kitchen).
There is an inner garden (courtyard) of 100 sq.meters and a land of 3000 sq.meters.
There are a barbecue and outdoor fourniture for use in the inner garden.
The inner garden can only be accessed from the kitchen.
Location of objectPuylaroque is situated between 2 rivers - Aveyron and Lot, where you can make a canoe-trip, swim or fish. North of the village is a national park. In the nearby surroundings you can descend into prehistoric caves, like Bosc, Padirac and Pech Merle or visit other medieval villages - Najac, Bruniquel, Cordes. Almost everyday there is a local market in one of the neighbour villages.
Town: France, Quercy, PuylaroquePuylaroque (70 km north of Toulouse and 40 km south of Cahors), situated on a hill of 300 m, with an excellent view. The medieval village/bastide is founded in 1140. The entire village, with its narrow streets and stone houses, is protected as a historical monument. You can find shops for all necessary daily needs, like butcher, baker, grocery and cafes/restaurants. A doctor and a pharmacy are also there. In the nearby one can swim in the little river La Lere, play tennis or go horse-riding.
