Description of objectThe house, near Porto Santo Stefano and Porto Ercole, is situated on top of a hill, surrounded by a 900 m2 garden and terraces, with wonderful sightseeing and is composed of three double rooms (one with double bed and two twin rooms), two bathrooms, a living room and a kitchen.
Because of the steep nature of the terrain in the garden and the many steps we do not recommend this villa to young families or elderly people.
Location of objectThe property is located in one of the most famous and beautiful sites on the Tuscan coast, Monte Argentario, a wonderful peninsula surrounded by the sea. The peninsula is linked to the mainland by two narrow causeways. The island has all the natural beauty of inland Tuscany with its olive groves, vineyards and cypresses and the added attraction of fishing villages and beaches.
Town: Italy, Argentario, Porto S. Stefano, OrbetelloThe towns close to the property are Porto S. Stefano (about 4Km) and Orbetello (6Km), nice fishing villages, with shops, sailing schools, cinemas, restaurants. Also close to the house is Porto Ercole with the famous turistic arbour Cala Galera.
During autumn and spring one can visit Siena, Pisa and Rome, reachable by train from Orbetello railway station in less then two hours and can walk through Monte Argentario or enjoy birdwatching in the Orbetello wet area or around the Burano lake. Moreover the warm baths and the beauty farm of Saturnia can be reached by car in about one hour.
During summer one can enjoy the beaches Giannella and Feniglia or the small rocky bays of Monte Argentario, perfect for scuba diving, or reach by ferry (in forty minutes) the islands Giannutri and Giglio, famous for the transparent sea. You can visit the numerous ancient country villages whose restaurants are well known for their regional food.
Moreover it is possible to buy biological food and wine at the Parrina and la Selva farms.
