Description of objectIt's situated 10 min. by bike away for the sun-rising beach of Mondello and 15 min by car from Palermo in one of the quietest zones of Mondello-Castelforte,even in high season! Made up of a bright and comfortably living-dining room (overlooking the garden and the terrace)with cooking facilities,kitchen and table equipment,a double bed sofa, stove, iron, washing-machine. A bedroom with air conditioning, mosquito net on the bed and wide window overlooking the garden.A covered patio with garden furnishing and an open terrace facing Monte Pellegrino equipped with deck-chairs and parasol.In the front garden there are: outside furnishing, hammock and private parking.Holiday rental : from Thursday to Thursday. Published WEEK/PRICE is for 2 persons; Different prices for 4 or 5 persons. The price includes: - sheets, towels - private parking - gaz, water and electricity - free use of 2 bikes. Electricity except air conditioning energy consumption that is 0,35 Euro/Kw. Final cleaning ¤40. From 20th August to 3th September minimum of 2 weeks booking are requested and discount is offered. On request Baby-cot ¤ 40, bed linen included. Price does not include everything is not expressly above-mentioned. A 5% discount is offered for 2 weeks bookings, a 10% discount for 3 weeks bookings, a 15% discount for monthly bookings. A refundable security/damage deposit of ¤ 200 is required(it has to be paid in cash locally to the key holder). The final cleaning does not include the cleaning of the kitchen that has to be left clean and pots and dishes put inside the cupboards. Rubbish and empty bottles and cans must not be left inside the house. Pets allowed prior arrangement with owner. A deposit of Euro 200 has to be paid in cash locally to the key holder. However, Mondello, about 9 km from Palermo, has not always looked like this: once upon a time, this basin, enclosed between Monte Gallo and Monte Pellegrino, was an unhealthy swamp with a small fishermen’s village nearby, that was built around the old tuna fishing nets site. Towards the end of the nineteenth century, after the land was reclaimed, elegant Liberty-style bathing establishments were built that immediately attracted the elitist European holidaymakers. Today the beach at Mondello attracts lots of visitors. The temperature is from 20 to 28 degrees, so one can still swim as well as very often in October, when the temperature is from 16 to 25 degrees (celsius). In November as in April there are normally 14-20 degrees, in December 9 - 16, in January 8 - 15, in February 9 - 16, in March 10 - 17, in April 11 - 20, in Mai 14 - 24, in June 18 - 28. How to reach Villa Castelforte: There are many economic direct flights. There are planes HLX or Ryanair. You can also reach Naples with your car, then put it on the ship Grandi Navi Veloci and disembark in Palermo. Another possibility is to drive to Genova and there take the ship of Grandi Navi Veloci to Palermo. |
