Description of objectSal isle, Cape Verde, Santa Maria resort, accomodation in a new construction apartment (2008), 150 meters far from the beach and 250 from the Surf Center and Fanatic/Mistral Center, in the area of Ponta Leme ( Praia Antonio Sousa), seaview balcony, composed of a 160x190 double sofa bed and a 160x190 double bed with two one-drawer night tables, or two single beds, a two-doors dresser, a large mirror sliding doors wardrobe which separates living room and bedroom, a practical and functional fitted kitchen, a table with four chairs, a two-doors fridge, a large bathroom with wash-basin, bidet, WC, shower box; a very fresh and bright apartment: weekly rent at 160 Euros, forthnightly rents at 230 Euros and weekly rents at 370 Euros. I also have 2 people studios and 4 people penthouses available. Water and electric costs are not included. The deposit to book the required period is 50 Euros; balance must be paid in cash at Salaffitti Agency of Cape Verde, on the second floor of the Bounty Residence, apartment L, at your arrival or the following day (credit cards are not accepted). Balance in cash (credit cards are not accepted) will be paid at your arrival at Salaffitti Agency of Cape Verde at second floor of The Bounty Residence, apartment L. (a 100 Euros deposit will be required and will be given back at your departure before water and electric costs). The building is composed of 14 apartments (studios, two bedrooms apartments, penthouses) all having seaview balconies. At your arrival at the residence our assistant (Luca Annoni) will wait for you to give you the apartment keys. To go to ESPARGO, the capital, take the coach bus during the day; you can take it at the town entrance and it costs 100 escudos which is definitely cheaper than a cab. You can buy fish directly at the fishers jetty; fishers go there every day at 10.30 p.m. And you will pay 4 Euros per kilo at the most; there are also good Cape Verde restaurants where to eat meat and fish dishes for 5 Euros. The fixed exchange rate is 1 Euro=100 escudos. At bank the cost of this operation is fixed for every amount and it can vary from 2 to 5 Euros depending on the bank; if you pay in Euros the exchange is 1 Euro=100 escudos. The only pharmacy in Santa Maria is placed near the PIRATA disco club; it is open from Monday to Friday from 8.30 to 12.30 p.m. And from 3.00 to 6.00 P.m. To make phone calls you must dial 00 followed by the international code and the user’s number you want to call, including 0. Please remember that a call from the cell phone will cost you 6.90 Euros per minute and a SMS will cost you 1.00 Euro. In Santa Maria you will find many Internet points where to make phone calls at cheap prices. Tap water in the apartments is desalinated; we suggest you to drink bottled water. |
