Description of objectThe cottage was totaly rebuilt 2002 and is in great shape. Consists of 2 bedrooms and a combined living / kitchen room. All in all 45m2 It is fully equipped with hot and cold water, electricity, WC, shower, dishwasher and laundy machine. The kitchen is well equipped, cooker, with oven, fan, fridge, freezer, coffee maker, micro wave oven and a lovely kitchen table for 6 people. The kitchen is combined with the living room, equipped with a TV. Dishwasher and laundry machine are both included in the rent. A barbecue is also included. Also internet access is included as long as the guest have a computer with Wireless LAN (WLAN) that can connect to our computer network. Disposition: 1. Bedroom A, closet for clothes and double bed, width 160cm, length 200cm. 2. Bedroom B, equipped with a bunk bed each bed width 90cm, length 200cm. 3. Living room / Kitchen sofa bed width 140cm, length 200cm. From the living room you can step directly out onto the balcony with the lovely sea view. The balcony is furnished. Barely 300 meters away is the sea. If you would like you can pre-book a canoe from wich you can explore the sea and the closer islands on relaxing one day excursions. There are both smaller and bigger islands within reach. We recommend a visit to some of the islands, maybe a dip in the sea directly from the cliffs or a bit of fishing. Renting the canoe for a week is 400SEK. Orust is located 60 kilometers from the center of Gothenburg, the second city of Sweden. You have a parking space of your own just outside the cottage.

Town: Sweden, Orust, OrustOrust, Sweden Orust is an island and municipality in Bohuslän on Sweden's west coast, and forms part of a lively archipelago with islands such as Gullholmen, Käringön, Malö and Flatön. The neighbouring municipalities are Lysekil to the north, Uddevalla to the northeast, Stenungsund to the southeast and Tjörn to the south. Gothenburg is 30 km or so to the south. Orust is Sweden's third-largest island with an area of 346 km², while the municipality as a whole has a total area of 388 km². The island currently (2004) has just over 15,000 residents, but this figure increases in the summer. Most of the municipality comprises countryside, with a number of small population centres. Henån in northern Orust is the largest community and functions as the chief town of the municipality. The history of Orust has been shaped first and foremost by the herring periods. When the herring came, the population and level of prosperity increased sharply, before then going into decline. The landscape's bare cliffs bear witness to the most recent herring period: the train-oil works required large quantities of wood, leaving the entire coast virtually treeless. Today Orust is best known for the manufacture of pleasure craft at both large and very small boatyards. Every second boat exported from Sweden comes from Orust. The industry is small-scale in nature, with most businesses having between one and ten employees. Orust can be reached by road from the south, via the Skåpesund Bridge from Tjörn, or from the north via the Vindö Bridge. By sea the island can be reached by ferry to Svanesund from Kolhättan on the mainland, or by private boat.
