Description of objectThe house is a pet-friendly family home with a large enclosed back garden overlooking wonderful mountains. Close to the beach and tidal pools, the house is ideal for a relaxing getaway.
The house can sleep 10 people, has Satelite TV, a fully-equipped kitchen with dishwasher and there is a laundry facility. One can also have lovely barbeques on the patio that overlooks the mountains.
Location of objectOnrus is located on the well-known whale coast where whale watching is a popular passtime and for the brave at heart there is Shark Cage Diving. Onrus is also close to the scenic route through the Hemel and Aarde Valley with wine farms known for their delectable wines Hermanus which is well known for its whale watching. There are three golf clubs in the vicinity. A bit further afield in Stanford is a Beer Brewery that offers beer tasting where one can compare the local beers. There is also a Cheese Factory.
Town: South Africa, Overberg, Hermanus, OnrusOnrus is a small, sleepy holiday village, 10 kilometers away from Hermanus. The Onrus river flows into the sea at the popular Onrus beach - ideal for young children and surfers. The house is within walking distance of 2 tidal pools and a well-kept coastal path meandering through the Fynbos (indigenous vegetation unique to the area). There are good restaurants, art galeries, two pubs where the locals meet, two supermarkets, a local butcher, liquor store, pharmacy and video shop less than a 2-minute drive away.
