Description of objectRafael's house stands in the heart of Bastimentos Town, called 'Old Bank'. Rafael's house is located right on main street, two minutes away from the park and the police station. Rafael's House has been part of Bastimentos history for over 80 years. Just recently the house has been completely remodellated, giving you the opportunity to stay in a original, caribbean cabana. And you will love it!
Rafael's House has a spacious porch with first class view on main street. On the back side of the house there is a balcony with view on Bastimentos Bay and Isla Solarte. This is the perfect place to enjoy your freshly blended fruit juice (with or without Abuelo Rum). The kitchen is fully equipped and there is a furnished living area.
Rafael's House has two bedrooms with double beds (full), Sky TV and security boxes. In the living room are two single beds and also has SKY TV. The bathroom has a warm water shower.

Location of objectRafael's House is located in the heart of town. The park is just a view houses down. Here you find a supermarket, public phones, the police station and a bunch of benches to sit down at night, just as the local peolpe do.
Bastimentos is famous for it's beaches. Wizard beach is a beautiful 20 minutes walk from Rafael's House. The views on the surrounding islands and the Chirrique mountains are stunning.
Other beaches on Bastimentos are: Red Frog beach, Polo beach and Playa Larga.
Town: Panama, Isla Bastimentos, Old BankIsla Bastimentos is the most caribbean of all the islands in Bocas del Toro. 'Old Bank' is the main town of Isla Bastimentos. Most of the inhabitants are indigenous and afro-americans. The spoken language is Guari Guari, also called Patua. Who knows, maybe you pick up some of this is a funny Jamaican english: 'Whappin man!'
