Description of objectSituated in seventeen acres of woodland and meadow. Swallow Cottage is only three miles from the glorious beaches of Woolacombe and Putsborough and offers comfortable family accommodation for 6 in a peaceful and secure setting.Swallow is an upside down house with the living room / kitchen on the first floor. It is set in a large walled garden with large (and nicely kept) lawn. Ground Floor – Entrance hall with step to Bedroom 1 with double bed and step to en-suite shower-room with shower, WC and wash-basin. Bedroom 2 with twin beds. Bedroom 3 with bunk-beds. Bathroom with bath and shower attachment, WC and wash-basin. Three cosy ground-floor bedrooms, one double (en suite), two twin bedrooms - one with full-sized bunk beds and all with sufficient space to store clothes On the first floor is a light and airy open plan, comfortably furnished living-room with kitchen and dining areas. Living room: A centrally-heated, pine-floored open plan space with windows overlooking the garden and views across the valley. Comfortable sofas and an armchair guarantee relaxing evenings listening to music, watching TV (Satellite) or just rediscovering the delights of board games and reading after dinner. Lounge facilities include: Satellite TV, DVD player and radio/CD player, books and board games The kitchen dining space, being part of the open plan area means that chefs will never be lonely (or short of helpers). The kitchen is well equipped to allow you to prepare gourmet meals - or just to warm up the occasional takeaway (when not BBQ-ing in the garden. There are 8 place settings for meals - just in case a couple of friends drop in for lunch. Kitchen facilities include: Electric cooker, microwave, fridge/freezer and washing machine/drier.
