The Harrison is situated in Mt Richon, a hills' suburb of Perth, cloase to the historic town of Armadale. Mt Richon is named aftera winery which was established in the region at the turn ofthe last century.

The Harrison, is nestled in Heritage Country, the gateway to Perth hills and the South West Region. This delightful hills location boasts numerous tourist attractions to enjoy and provides those seekig to relax and unwind whilst basking in the beautiful sunsets and fantastic views.

Enjoy your West Ausralian holiday in style. You can relax and enjoy the view of the city or the coastline. Built in the mediterranean style, The Harrison is unique in that it is secluded and yet is within easy walking distance to the Armadal town centre with its many restaurants, cafes, shops etc.

Elsewhere in the region, there are some very good wineries in Jarrahdale - with its award winning vineyeards and the new Rocksgate Winery on the must-do list.

Armadale lies approximately 35 minutes south-east of the Perth CBD. The main routes into the region are Albany Highway and Armadale Road. Armadale was originally a milling district though this area is better known for its thick forests, parks and nature reserves.

Armadale was founded in 1831 and as a rich cultural history, which you can first discover at the History House Municipal Museum, part of the historic precinct located in Minnawarra Park, astride the Neerigen Brook just a 10 minute walk from The Harrison.

Armadale grew up around the Narrogin Inn (5 minutes walk from The Harrison), a hostelry established in 1852 at the point where the road from Perth forked, one branch going off to Albany in the south, the other to Bunbury - now the Albany and South West Highways. The original Inn has long gone but the present on (built in 1936) remains an important landmark.
