A large unique,traditional Quinta.
Bed and breakfast is 65 euros per person per night. Travel cot available for a baby or toddler. Large fully equipped residence with shared shower / wet room, toilet and 2 hand basins. Comfortable sitting room contains TV with sky, dining table is in the very large lounge with beautiful log burning fire. All usual entertainment - DVD player, play station 2 and a nintendo wii.
Outside - table tennis table and a trampoline.
Pool-towels & personal towels will be provided.
Anything you may have overlooked will discretely be provided. This is your home while you are at Serra Vista.

Serra Vista offers plenty outside space including a lovely private and peaceful courtyard, shaded terraces, amazing views & all set in gorgeous gardens (8 acre approx).Extensive terraced areas for relaxing. We have a beautiful decked pool area with lots of tropical plants. Relax in your lounger,dip in the pool or sit in a chair & chill out. We have a shower area by the pool to cool off ! Lots of outside areas for cool drinks. The house is situated in a remote peaceful hillside where you can go on walks as the area has amazing wildlife interest, especially birds and plants. We have a pretty river running along our land called 'Perna de Negra'.
We have plenty parking room.
Everything you will need can be easily arranged as the owners have their own private residence and will be on hand if any advice is needed.

Serra Vista is well located for all that the Algarve has to offer and also to see the real Portugal. Monchique is the closest town; about 11 kms and an area classed as having outstanding beauty. You can get everything you need in Monchique, bars, banks, shopping, markets, parks etc. The property offers the advantages of a beautiful quiet location with good access to towns and within 45 mins drive to beaches, all tourist attractions and golf. The property is suited for those who like peaceful, natural locations!

Serra Vista is a unique tranquil place, very different from Coastal or City Casas/Villas you would normally find in The Algarve.
If you want something unusual & completely restful, this is the place for you !!
ALSO IN THE SURROUNDING AREAS :Great cafes/bars, markets, shopping outlets. Golf and sports, shopping and culture.
A very beautiful environment and a very good price for a very lovely place to have a holiday ! We know because we stay here every year !!

Near by for the more adventurous is a lovely city in the South of The Algarve, Portugal, PORTIMAO only 45 minutes by car. Being located in the South coast is well known in the sailing world for being ideal location for sailing the Atlantic Ocean. The city hosts many sporting events such as the beach soccer world cup, the Lisbon to Dakar rally also passes through.
The Portuguese Grand Prix of the Sea run by Powerboat P1 as part of it's international championship is also held in Portimão. In the hills near Portimão stands the Autódromo Internacional do Algarve. There is also a wide range of activities you can find here related to water sports and many more attractions. The Algarve has a wonderful year round weather suitable for big fans of sun-sand-sea vacation as well as it can provide lots of activity and adventure. We highly recommend taking advantage of one of the many boat excursions to discover the majestic coast line of the Algarve. Also try to be in Portimão for lunch. Of course, you can dine tasting some of the best sea food in the world by the sea here in Portimao !
We have the Wide West Coast,Atlantic Ocean, very natural and un-touched.
Then we have Portimao, with a wide variety of bars and restaurants located around the town's main square and it is near to some excellent beaches including the very popular Praia da Rocha, which has a casino right on the beachfront. In addition, Portimao has a great selection of shops and boutiques and a popular market where you can pick up some Portuguese souvenirs such as ceramics, lace and jewellery. For keen walkers and hikers the coastline around Portimao has some extraordinary scenery to view including craggy rocks and caves that have been fashioned by the crashing waves of the Atlantic.
