Description of objectIn the exclusive and sought after haven of Les Mougeres, on the outskirts of Marseillan itself, this villa hideaway, tucked away from the main road in a lazy Languedoc lane is the perfect spot for getting away from it all in real comfort and style.This blue-shuttered villa is a lovely family home, three bedrooms, two bathrooms, and, the treat of treats, a tempting swimming pool on the patio in the garden. The house itself is bright and sunny, with two bedrooms and a bathroom on the first floor, the ground floor boasting another double bedroom and an extra bathroom. Six people comfortably accommodated in the bedroom, with room for an extra couple using a sofa bed in the living room on the ground floor. The open plan space, with its airy dining area, has windows at each end and opens out to the terrace with its sun-awnings for shade from the Mediterranean glare. Sun loungers and dining table and chairs border the the L-shaped pool, which is fitted with an alarm. The garden that wraps around the villa, has exotic palm trees verdant bushes and colourful flowers of the Midi, a welcoming site as you drive up to the gate and the long driveway to your place in the Languedoc sun. Location of objectLes Mougeres is around a couple of miles from the centre of Marseillan, a lovely summer walk along the poppy and cornflower dotted hedgerows, past vineyards and fields to the winepress that marks the main road into the village.Just a couple of minutes in the car on Tuesday's market day or any lazy evening with a hearty appetite. There are some local shops a 10-minute saunter from the villa, where you can pick up some bread and wine and something for the evening meal.
