In calm idyllic position amidst of olive trees and stone walls the charming cottage “Casetta Peppe” is built. On the 3.000 sqm property, structured in terraces, is on a higher terrace the holiday home “Villa Solento”. On the lowest terrace, but outside of the property, is the garden of the nice family. Here some chicken are living which are guarded by a dog. Using a separate gate you will arrive at “Casetta Peppe”. Your car has a parking site under a shady olive tree. The new built cottage has 40 sqm living space is a cosy place for two persons and offers a small kitchen-living, a double bedroom (new cold foam mattresses) and a bathroom with shower. It is well equipped with mosquito-nets at the windows, coffee machine, Sat-TV and hair-dryer. In the outdoor area you’ll find a shower and a barbeque. The roofed over furnished terrace with sea view is on the southern side. But the absolutely highlight is the roof terrace with panorama view. It is a nice place to enjoy at sunset a glass of wine, accompanied by the chirping of cicadas and the nice smell of the olive trees.

The charm of the small village at the coast is the port with its promenade. Small shops, bar and restaurant are located here and in the small side streets. From here are starting interesting boat trips along the beautiful coast. In and around the village are beaches, some of sand, some of pebbles. Somewhat outside there is the sandy beach “Mingardo”, which lines the coast several kilometres. The village is a good starting point for walking tours along the coast or in the hinterland. Also day trips to the archaeological excavation Velia or Paestum, to the Katause of Padula and to Pompei or Mount Vesuvius are feasible.
