This is a beautiful farmhouse with pool situated in the peaceful countryside between Lucca and Pisa in Tuscany. It is composed by 2 independent holiday apartments that vary in size and style. It is ideal to stay with your family and friends - either weekly or monthly - for a relaxing and cultural holiday in our beautiful surroundings. --------

The two apartments in the farmhouse are:

(1) THE BARN - On the first floor. The old barn has been renovated maintaining its characteristic wooden structure and stone arches. Suitable for a family of 4, this high ceiling space has a large entrance dining area, a lofted master bedroom and a changing room with bunk bed leading to the bathroom. Access to a furnished external covered area, ideal for aperitifs and barbeques (Sleeps 4).

(2) THE STABLE - On the ground floor. The old stable has been transformed into a delightful, large one bedroom open-space apartment, suitable for a couple with a child. Situated on the ground floor with view and access to the pergola and main garden, the Stable also has a living dining area - with additional futon sofa bed - and a bathroom (Sleeps 3).

Location of object

The farmhouse is also near PISA, one of the historic Italian Marine Republics along with Venice, Amalfi and Genoa. Pisa is only a 20 minute drive from there (driving across the hills separating the two cities of Lucca and Pisa).

All these locations can be visited on daytrips: Firenze (70 Km.), Pietrasanta (about 40 Km), San Gimignano (80 Km.), Volterra (90 Km), and the Cave di marmo di Carrara (The Marble Caves in Carrara, about 70 Km.)

For the Fanatics of Body Exercise: You will have the possibility to go horse-riding inside the Tenuta di San Rossore, the old hunting grounds of the kings of Italy. Otherwise, you can always go for long walks in the forest behind the farmhouse, or go trekking or mountain biking in the beautiful Alpi Apuane.

You can also play golf on any of the 5 courses available in a radius of 50 Km, or you can reach by car the white sandy beaches of the Versilian coast, which is just a 20 minute drive from the farmhouse.

The farmhouse is located in a quiet country village in the gentle hills just outside the Lucca's walls, near the road direction Pisa.

LUCCA, named 'the city with 100 churches', is in fact only 5 Km from there. This is one of the most characteristic Italian cities, whose still intact medieval walls can be visited for a pleasant walk or a bike ride. Its historical centre has maintained its facet as it was in the medieval days of Elisa Baciocchi Bonaparte. Its exquisite Piazzas and Palazzos - like Piazza del Mercato (old roman amphitheatre), Piazza San Michele and Piazza del Duomo - are a 'must' for anyone who comes here.
