Description of object \\\'Les Balcons\\\' is a substantial 3 bedroom Loire Valley house over two floors with a delightful raised balcony offering lovely views giving you a countryside feel but with all the village amenities. There is also a \\\'Juliet\\\' balcony off one of the bedrooms. The house is located in the charming village of Le Grand Pressigny in Southern Touraine in the Loire Valley. From the house it is only a few minutes walk to the village centre with its restaurants, bars and shops. The village’s location halfway between the cities of Tours and Poitiers makes it an ideal base to explore the Loire Valley, its many chateaux and pretty villages as well as the department of Vienne where you can visit the theme park of Futuroscope. The nearest chateaux at Le Guerche and Le Grand Pressigny itself are only minutes away. You can have a true French experience as it is relatively \\\'tourist free\\\' but still take advantage of all this beautiful area has to offer, everything from picturesque villages, citadel towns ( many with their own chateau), sandy beaches by beautiful lakes, safari parks and troglodytes.

The village has a charm of its own plus all the practical features of an active community such as a pharmacist, doctor, butcher, baker, grocer, bookshop, florist, hairdresser and hardware store.
There are three bars in the village \\\'Le Jean Bart\\\' one in \\\'Chez Grand Ma\\\'s\\\' and the \\\' Prehisto\\\' to link to the town\\\'s history !There is a very good tourist office in the centre of the village giving information on the delights of the Loire Valley, Touraine and also of its close neighbours in the department of Vienne.There are a couple of restaurants in the village, \\\'Chez Grand Ma\\\' (pictured left) and the the restaurant in the hotel \\\'Le Savoie Villars\\\'. Both have inside and outside eating areas and lunchtime and evening menus to suit most pockets.There is also a chateau and prehistory museum and swimming pool in the villae.
