Description of objectRight outside the town of Imperia, on the road to Pontedassio, 3 Km away from the city centre and the beach, on a large ground of 4,000 sqm, surrounded by a luxuriant oak wood and olive grow and a large garden, you will find the very welcoming holiday residence 'Villa Arcobaleno'.'Villa Arcobaleno' has its own entrance, private parking area, and the gate is remote-controlled. The apartment called 'Casa Blu' ('Bue House') is on the ground floor of Villa Arcobaleno. It is a comfortable flat, ideal for up to 5-6 people. It has a terrace about 35 sqm large with a arbour, a sink, a table and chairs, sun beds, barbecue. 'Casa Blu' is comprised of two bedrooms, one with a double bed, one with a bunk bed, a bathroom with shower, washing machine, hairdryer, a kitchen-dining room fully furnished with fan, hob with four burners, gas oven, fridge, dishes, cutlery, cookware , satellite television and sofa bed. Wireless ADSL Internet access is included. From the terrace, where one can sunbathe, rest in the shade of the arbour, and barbecue free from disturbance, one enjoys a wonderful view of the Impero valley, the surrounding hills and the Impero stream itself. A supermarket, chemist, café are less than 800 meters away. The owners speak English, German, French, Croatian and, obviously, Italian. Bed linen and towels, are not included, are available on request at an extra charge. Also available on request are cot and high chair. Pets are welcome at an extra charge. After visit to the Cathedral of San Maurizio, the largest Ligurian church, we go up, up along the small roads clinging to the promontory of Parasio to the loggias of the Convent of Santa Chiara ,on the ancient walls rising sheer above the sea .The view of gulf is stupendous .At the bottom ,villas and parks entice us to soak in the colours and perfumes of the Mediterranean ”maquis” .And who not go to Borgo Marina and walk along the beach ?Who cares if it’s not summer .Here, the sand is always golden. So that’s why It’s called the Golden Beach. Next door we find the fully- equipped tourist marina, famous for the Antique Sailboat Meeting, a biennial event held in September .And den we work up an appetite, the characteristic restaurants of Borgo Prino are just what the doctor ordered. How about sauntering in the city under the arcades? Via Bonfante in Oneglia is most elegant way to stroll and go shopping. Via San Giovanni is a must for the those who love stores that specialise in local gastronomic delicacies. Let’s take e quick look at old Oneglia: here is Doria palace, where the famous admiral Andrea Doria was born . Then, the villa – museum Grock old residence of the “king” of clowns. Bat perhaps the real celebrity of Liguria is..the olive tree.
