Description of object

Cottages are situated just by the Messilä ski slopes, near Lake Vesijärvi. The ski center in the winter and a cozy boat port in the summer will take care, that no one vacationer get bored.

Ski-slopes are situated bare 50 meters from the cottage and the beach just a few minutes hike away. The beach area is nice, sandy child-friendly place, where You can find also toilets, changing rooms, beach volley - spots, bar, restaurant, children’s playground etc. They also offer some fun activities. For example You can get funny ride on water-ski or loan a rowing boat for a day or a few hours!
Lahti with its activities and attractions is only 7 km away and has easy reach with buses going from the nearby of Messilä resort.

Location of object

Old traditions are well alive in Messilä today. The main building in the court-yard is the beautiful Manor House, built in the beginning of 1900, now transformed into a pleasant restaurant and meeting place. Place offers many things to do - skiing, wandering, swimming, boating etc.

Messilä is surrounded by woody ridges of Salpausselkä, and the scene to the lake is clear and gorgeous, as it always used to be.
