This holiday villa offers everything and more to ensure your stay is enjoyable and comfortable as possible.
This rental property has two bedrooms, one with a double bed and the other with two singe beds. In the living room is a double sofa bed for extra convenience. There is an excellent modern kitchen which has been fully equipped with all the necessary items, including a washing machine to help you stay fresh during your holiday. The house also offers a plasma TV, DVD player, security system and secure parking.
Outside is a very attractive private pool with a BBQ area. Out door table and chairs are provided to sit down and soak up the sun, or to enjoy a barbecue, making this property ideal for your Bulgarian holiday, suitable for both family holidays and couples wanting to get away from it all.
Location of objectCar hire is recommended, although regular bus services operate to Dobrich and Balchik.
Gurkovo is located approximately 11 kilometers (7 miles) from the historic fishing and beach resort town of Balchik, 22 kilometers (14 miles) from the holiday resort at Kavarna, and 38 kilometers (22 miles) from the large provincial town of Dobrich. The international resorts of Albena and Golden Sands and the cosmopolitan city of Varna are all within 30 minutes drive. There are also quiet secluded local beaches nearby, so you will be spoilt for choice of activities during your stay. Gurkovo is an extremely tranquil place surrounded by open wheat, corn and sunflower fields, which are quite dazzling in the summer!
Balchik town offers all of the facilities you would expect of a holiday resort, but retains a traditional peaceful fishing town. Balchik has many attractions, such as Queen Marie of Romania’s summer palace, the famous Botanical Gardens and the Shark water park.
Dobrich has an extremely lively pedestrianised area with amazingly cheap yet cosmopolitan cafes, bars and restaurants. The shopping is also excellent. Just off the main pedestrian thoroughfare is the “Stariya Dobrich” (Old Dobrich) area, where historic nineteenth-century houses line cobbled streets and craftsmen demonstrate their traditional trades.
Town: Bulgaria, Black Sea Coast, GurkovoGurkovo is a very traditional Bulgarian village, where most of the locals are self sufficient. Village life here has remained largely unchanged for centuries – the people are extremely friendly and welcoming, and are very likely to bestow you with gifts of their own produce and home-made “rakia” brandy during your stay. The only real traffic in this charming village are the donkeys!
