Description of objectGround floor.Kitchen. Cooker, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave, kettle, washing machine, crockery etc., table and chairs. Living-dining room. Wood burner (wood supplied), sofa,chairs, dining table and chairs, dresser, hi-fi, telivision (French, English, German, etc), DVD player, books and games, double doors to garden. First floor. 2 double bedrooms- double beds, wardrobes with draws. Bathroom-with WC. Shower room- with WC. Second floor. Large attic room- twin beds, cot bed, wardrobe, chest of draws. There are electric wall heaters in most rooms. The rear garden has a BBQ, table and chairs and an above ground swimming pool. An ideal place to watch the sun go down. To the front of the house there is also a seating area with a chiminea. Enjoy morning coffee or an evening aperitif under the kiwi and grape vines. Location of objectThe gite is an ideal base. You can do as much or as little as you want. Visit Mont St. Michel, the landing beaches, historic sites, gardens, all within an hours drive. Or you can just relax and take in the scenery, maybe a bit of both.The nearest of many long sandy beaches is approximately 20mins in the car. Town: France, Normandie, GuéhébertGuehebert is a small hamlet in the heart of the Normandie countryside. It is approximately a mile from the nearest village of Roncey, which comfortably caters for most bacic needs. It has a bakery, butchers, general store, post office, pharmacy and there is a small weekly open air market.The small Cathedral city of Coutances (approx 8 miles) provides a more extensive range including super/hypermarkets. It has an annual Jazz festival in May and numerous other events during the year. You will also be very welcome to share our normally abundant garden produce. Tea, coffee, sugar and fresh milk will be in the gite for your arrival. Also some home made jam and a bottle of red wine to welcome you to France. |
