Description of objectBEAU SOLEILGalu Beach Galu Kinondo South Coast Mombasa The house including the balconies and verandas is approx 5000 sq feet. All rooms have ceiling fans and the four main bedrooms are all en-suite with AC and have four-poster super king size beds with mosquito nets. Two other rooms have a three quarter size lamu day bed with ceiling fan and a double bed with a ceiling fan. All the bedrooms have access directly out onto a balcony/veranda. One of the bedrooms has a private balcony. The kitchen is fully fitted with gas and electric rings and an electric fan oven, microwave oven, kettle, coffe maker, toaster and sandwich toaster. There is a full range of plates, cups, glasses, cutlery and cooking utensils. There is an LG washing machine and three large fridge freezers so there is plenty of room for food and drinks. There is also a large walk in larder/food store and utility room. All windows and outside doors in the house have security grills fitted. The family room has two large bookcases with a selection of novels and books also a selection of board games for guests to use and borrow. There is also a full sized massage table and gusets will be given the number of a private health and beauty technician who is available for massages and beauty treatments such as manicures and pedicures. The house is supplied with clean water for washing and cooking from the well at the front of the property via the water tower. The house staff have their own accommodation adjacent to the house and are excellent workers. Rama is the gardener/groundsman and pool technician. Amos is the house man/cleaner he will also take care of your laundry and ironing. The grounds are new but establishing fairly quickly; the planting has been done mainly by Rama with a large amount of plants grown from seed. The main areas of the garden around the house now have carpet grass and the other areas in the back garden will have paper grass. The pool is 13.8 m in length and 7.5 m wide and 2.2 m deep end and 1.2 m in the shallow end. We have a selection of infalable beds etc for guests use. By the pool we have a large Banda with a makuti roof to escape the miday sun and a large BBQ area. We have three large 6 ft funzi sofas and four tables with six chairs. The pool area also has six wooden sun loungers with mattresses and two large double size sunbeds.The balconies have two large dinning tables for guests who wish to dine outside. We also have twelve folding camping chairs that are suitable for using in the garden or around the outside dinning tables. If in season Rama will prepare one of our coconuts grown fresh in the rear garden or you can try some passion fruit also grown in the rear garden The rear gate leads directly onto the beach with Pinewood Village Resort to the right being only 300 metres down the beach, The Aqualand water sports centre and resort restaurants and beach bars are available to use. To the left as you walk down the beach there are other beach bars and restaurants a bit further away. There is a set of wooden skittles and balls for guests to use in the front driveway for some evening entertainment. These are kept in the garage along with two bikes one a traditional african style local bike the other is a modern mountain style bike. A metal double sided BBQ and charcoal are also stored in the garage for your use. A local chef can be hired on request or guests can cook for themselves. A local fisherman will come to the house and sell the catch of the day including lobsters and large prawns, which the chef will be happy to prepare and cook for you either in the oven or on the BBQ. Our Driver can be requested to collect and drop off guests for airport transfers.He is also an excellent safari driver and guide and will be happy to discuss your requirements and sort out a package to suit your needs and budget. The safari's will be private with only you in the safari bus. He is very reliable and will beat any price for a like for like safari. Local day trips, dolphin safari and an eventure into Mombasa town to soak up the sights, sonunds and the heady aroma of the spice market can also be arranged with him. I hope this gives you an idea of the property and the facilities it has to offer. The property could sleep up to eleven people in comfort. We have catered for larger groups on request utilising airbeds etc. The house is not suitable for children under 10 years old. This property is strictly for non smokers.
