Description of objectThe House is in a holiday house development,10 km to the pretty port town Datca. It is dublex having a bathroom with shower, and two bedrooms upstairs, one with a balcony with a sea view diagonally, Downstairs it has a kitchen, bathroom with shower, a living room and as well as a sunny porch. There is also a swimming pool for both childeren and adults and approximately 70 m. to the sea. It is located on a wide, lond bay with a sandy, sheltered 'Blue Flag' beach and has a windsurf school very nearby. The site has colourful mature gardens. There is a market and frequent bus services to Datca. Most of the houses are privately owned by Turkish families, many of whom spend the whole summer here, so there is a genuine Turkish atmosphere here.
Location of object If you would like to explore further afield, the pretty port town of Datca is only 10 minutes drive away to the west, and the resort of Marmaris with its many shops and lively nightlife is 40 minutes to the east. From Marmaris various one-day excursions are available, such as boat trips to the rock-tombs of Dalyan / Kaunos or the Greek island of Rhodes, white-water rafting, jeep safari, visits to Ephesus and Pamukkale. If you are interested in history and you have your own transport, a visit to the ancient city of Knidos at the very tip of the Datca peninsula - impressive due to its unique location with two harbours - is highly recommended.
Town: Turkey, Agean Sea, DatcaDatca in south west of Turkey is an excellent choice for a relaxing holiday. Datca is known to be the second town in the world which has the most oxygen in his air. The people are very friendly and welcoming, the countryside and coastline around Datca is beautiful and unspoilt, the food is good (especially the fish in this area) and everything is reasonably priced. The weather during the summer months is very settled and sunny, and the Datca region is blessed by a regular cooling breeze. Spring (April-May) and autumn (September-October) are usually pleasantly warm, with cooler evenings with a relaxing amount of humidity and the sea stays warm enough for swimming until the end of October.
