Description of objectCasa Jecentho is situated in the heart of Malta’s historic Three Cities.Cospicua is known to the Maltese as Bormla (Lord’s Meadow) and is the largest of the Three Cities. This 16 Century Maltese townhouse is part of what was once a large home. The coat of arms is stands above the front door. It has since been divided into several smaller houses. Casa Jecentho was the centre part of this house, The imposing oak doors and sculpted doorways a reminder of another age. The Bedroom is on the first floor. This cosy room is dominated by a king size bed and antique Maltese Wardrobe. 3 stone steps lead to a private circular balcony with intricate ironwork over looking the church. The tolling of the church bells is muffled by double glazing and solid shutters to ensure you have a good nights sleep. The Kitchen/living room is open plan situated on the third floor. It is the perfect setting for entertaining, cooking and relaxing. This tastefully furnished room is light and spacious. Ancient oak beams frame the Xorok ceilings and double doors lead to a wrought iron balcony. Digital television, DVD, telephone and Internet cnnection point keep you in touch with the outside world. Chill out on the sofa after a day exploring the unique Three Cities The Kitchen is well equipped with Vitro-ceramic hob, Smeg oven, huge fridge/freezer and the cupboards are well stocked with dishes and utensils.. There is also a washing machine fitted into the units. The antique dining table seats four. Elegant place settings, white china and stainless steel cutlery make dining at home a memorable experience. Location of objectThe Three Cities are situated on Grand Harbour in the South of Malta. It is a pleasure to wander around the old streets under imposing bastions. There are many historic sites of interest, Inquisitors Palace. Maritime Museum, Malta at war Museum Due to their proximity to the dockyards the area was bombed extensively during WWII. The area has recently enjoyed a revival with a lot of investment. the development of a superyacht marina, a new casino and restaurants and bars are mushrooming and embellishment projects enhancing the natural beauty of this part of the harbour. Valletta is only 5 minutes away by ferryboat and it is well served by buses and only 10 minutes from the airport. Cospicua, known to the Maltese as Bormla (Lord’s Meadow) is the largest of the Three Cities and originally served as a market town. Today the area is under going rejuevenation with numerous restaurants, restoration projects a world class yacht marina and casino.
