Description of objectThe romantic Finca La Sierra is located in the Natural Park Sierra Almijara above Cómpeta and is a perfect place for nature lovers, couples or honeymooners. Here you will find pure nature and complete peace. The closest neighbors are 1 km away. Due to the exposed location of Finca La Sierra the magnificent views from the different terraces are the best in the entire region.
Finca La Sierra offers space for 2 people and is an original of natural stone built house, which is divided into 2 floors. On the ground floor the cozy living room with sofa, satellite TV and fireplace, the well-equipped kitchen, which is separated from the living room by a small bar, and a bathroom with shower. Over a wooden staircase we get to the upper floor, the bedroom with double bed.
The bedroom is equipped with air conditioning.
Outside in front of the Finca a covered terrace with wooden table and benches, perfect for any meal. On another terrace a little bit below Finca La Sierra we find the refreshing private swimming pool, ideal to relax and enjoy the amazing views to the landscape.
Location of objectFinca La Sierra is only 2,5 km away from the beautiful white village of Cómpeta. The last 1000 meters to the house are over a dirt track, on which you can drive without problems with a normal car.
In Cómpeta you find everything you need for your holiday: several small supermarkets, bakers, fruit and vegetable store, restaurants, bars, pharmacies, Internet café, souvenir shops, medical center, dentist, tourist information and much more.
Town: Spain, Costa del Sol, CompetaCómpeta is situated in the region of the “Axarquia” in the province of Malaga; at a distance of little more than 50 kilometers away from Malaga city. Separated from the province of Granada by the mountain range that rises from Nerja; beginning at the northeastern border of the Axarquia, Cómpeta extends down in the direction of the coast and the mountains of Torrox or opens up on the Mudejar Route departing from Algarrobo and passing through Sayalonga village and then leading a short way through the countryside of Árchez before entering the municipality of Cómpeta.
The centre of Cómpeta is charming and attractive and visitors will fall in love with it in almost every street. It is almost obligatory to explore the town on foot, due to the distribution of its urban core, with winding steep and narrow streets, partially with stairs….
The most important street is San Antonio, starting from the central square, which divides the urban core into two boroughs: “El Barrio” (The Quarter or Borough) and “El Monte” (The Mountain). Eventually you reach the hermitage of San Antón and a spectacular natural viewpoint from which we can understand the name of Competa as the Cornice of the Mediterranean and the Axarquía.
