Description of objectJust a few kilometres from the hill top town of Cisternino, a picturesque, spacious trullo farmhouse. Trullo la Difesa was the working part of the farm and has been carefully redesigned to provide the maximum space and privacy while at the same time retaining traditional features.The beautiful trullo double bedroom for instance was once used to make wine in. It is a renovated trullo complexwith three bedrooms; 2 doubles and one single (with twin beds), a large trullo living area and newly equipped and fitted kitchen plus bathroom with shower. Outside there�s a large furnished patio and car parking space. The English owners and trullo lovers have been living in the area for many years. Location of objectClose by are the towns of Ostuni, Martina Franca, Locorotondo,Alberobello and Fasano. Not far away are historic sites, museums, cathedrals, and castles at Trani, Castellana Grotte, Castel del Monte, Oria, Grottaglie, Lecce, Gallipoli, Otranto, and Matera and many other places too. It�s a town that has many trattorie, pizzerie and restaurants, all used by the local people, and there are supermarkets and bars too. The town itself is a twenty minute drive to the Adriatic coast with its rocky and sandy beaches, or small fishing ports.Ideally placed for touring the major archaeological and architectural highlights.
