Description of objectACCOMMODATION – With Wi-Fi Internet connectionOn the ground floor, there is a living room with dining area and open plan, fully fitted kitchen with fridge-freezer, microwave, electric oven, gas hob, kettle, toaster and a good selection of crockery. A wall mounted log burner for year round use (logs can be purchased locally). A bar and bar stools separate the kitchen from the dining area. There is a separate lounge with sofa and television (French channels) and a further dining table and chairs. Door leads to utility area with washing machine and dishwasher, leading through to shower room with shower and washbasin. Separate WC. On the first floor there are two good sized bedrooms. One large double room and one L-shaped triple bedroom with double bed and single bed. Private garden and patio area with barbecue, and table and chairs for eating outside. Location of objectSt MARTIN DE BREHAL is a lively coastal town with restaurants and bars over looking the sea. As well as the wonderful beach, there are also several boutiques selling swim wear and clothes, and everything you can imagine for the beach. There is also horse riding, golf and a sailing school/variety of water sports.Don’t miss the large weekly Sunday market which takes over the town: A lovely atmosphere where you will find everything from local specialties, to clothes and animals. La Manche, Normandie, has long been a firm favourite with holidaymakers, and it is not hard to understand why. It is basically a peninsula, so the sea and beaches are never far away, with facilities for swimming, sunbathing, boat trips and so on. Yet go a few miles inland and you will find beautiful countryside and wonderful views. Manche offers plenty of opportunities for rural activities such as walking, cycling, horse riding, fishing and golf. There are also many places of interest for sightseeing: large towns with elegant shops, quaint villages, museums, zoos, theme parks, botanical gardens, and of course famous sites such as Le Mont St. Michel and the waterfalls at Mortain. With Le Mont Saint Michel only 1 hour away and all the other Normandy attractions within easy reach such as the D-Day beaches just 40 minutes away, this house can be the base for either a relaxing beach holiday or one spent exploring this lovely area of La Manche. Town: France, La Manche, Basse Normandie, ChanteloupThe town of BREHAL is just 2 km from the house with shops, bakeries, supermarket and bars and restaurants. The holiday cottage is next door to the French owner’s house who remain very discreet. Separate entrance and driveway to each property with private garden and enclosed terrace to the front of the house. The owners provide a lovely welcome basket with fresh produce from the local area.
