Description of objectVilla Arcaia is a 19th century red-brick villa complex set in the peaceful Umbrian countryside, surrounded by enchanting views of lakes and rolling hills. It consists of three red-brick buildings, furnished in the finest Italian tradition. Its four apartments sleep up to twenty-eight people. Its features include loggias and terraces, wooden beams, and cotto floors. The villa can be rented as a whole or by single apartment.
Location of objectVilla Arcaia is immersed in a wide park that includes an olive grove. It is an ideal location to relax by its outdoor swimming pool in the quiet countryside. Although a car is strongly recommended, the main sites of Umbria and Tuscany are only a short drive away and you can be back for a swim before dinner.
Town: Italy, Trasimeno Lake, Castiglione del LagoVilla Arcaia is in Villastrada, a very tiny hamlet distancing about 10 Km from Castiglione del Lago and its islands. The surrounding countryside is openwide with enchanting views from sunrise to sunset. The area abounds with little unknown cultural jewels. Enjoy a fine dinner, a good wine or a simple stroll through little known towns in this area. Villa Arcaia is a perfect location to reach Cortona, Chiusi, Cetona in a short drive. It is also about 7 Km from Chiusi (Tuscany) from which the major cities of art (Florence, Rome, Assisi) are a few hours drive away.
