Arrived at this place very early in the morning way before designated check in time, the owner was willing to let us check in and met us at the house. Upon entering, we were met with a very well maintained, beautiful house. The little details she had gone out of her way to include in the house made our entire family wish we could just move in and stay forever. The location is great, close to the beach, a few pubs and the local grocery store. Is near a bus line if you don't have a car, and well outside of the hustle and bustle of Cairns. Which you may or may not want to visit, considering the house itself is private, fully furnished with internet, tv and plenty of seating spaces outdoors to enjoy the Cairns sunshine, (which we had very little of, but KNOW that if the homeowner could have changed this, she would have!) I'd recommend this to my friends and steer my enemies elsewhere! All in all it was one of the highlights of our six week visit in Australia.' Location of objectTrinity Beach is only 15 minutes from Cairns international and domestic airports, and 20 minutes from Cairns city centre. Taxis, shuttle services and hire cars can be arranged at the airport. The bus stop into town or the other beaches is just around the corner from this Cairns holiday home.There are a number of golf/country clubs in the vicinity of this Cairns holiday home, boating clubs, tennis clubs or try your hand at barefoot bowls at the local bowling club! Trinity Beach, Cairns has its own supermarket, butcher, newsagent, post office, medical services, gym, bottle shop, hairdressers, clothing shops, bakery, takeaway shops, etc, and only 5 minutes away there are larger shopping centres if you need more variety. Town: Australia, Cairns, CairnsCairns is of course famous for the Great Barrier Reef, one of the seven natural wonders of the world, and the world heritage listed Daintree National Park. But it has more (lots more!) - a multitude of islands to visit, wildlife parks, aboriginal cultural park, cable car, national parks, a casino (with a rooftop dome wildlife attraction), excellent shopping, art galleries, a museum, theatre, cinemas and adventure activities (cable skiing, jungle swing, bungy jumping, white water rafting, skydiving, ATV's, paragliding, sea kayaking - the list is endless - we seriously suggest a stay of at least two weeks - and even then you will need to come back to see and experience more!).Taking a drive up north, you can visit Port Douglas (about 40 minutes), the world heritage listed Daintree National Park, Cape Tribulation and perhaps you might want to take a cruise to check out the crocodiles and other wildlife (snakes and all!) that inhabit the Daintree River. To the west you can visit the Atherton Tablelands, the crater lakes (yes, they were volcanoes), waterfalls and rainforest retreats. That is, of course, if you want to venture out, you may just wish to relax on the beach, using the beachfront bbqs available for the public, sampling the cuisine in the beachfront restaurants or sipping on a drink or two in the pub or bar at Trinity Beach (you guessed it, also on the beachfront!). It is a very special place to be at full moon, absolutely stunning! (What a great romantic getaway idea!)
