Quartu Sant'Elena, city that counts over 70 thousand inhabitants, is situated to around 6 kms from Cagliari in shore to the sea. The territory is classifiable in the three zones: the first one is constituted by the urban center, the second from the coastal zone and the third one from the mountain. The urban center occupies the terminal part of the Campidano; the majority of the citizens resides in that part of the territory delimited on one side from the pond of Molentargius and from the other from the government road SS 554. The coastal zone is constituted from seaside resorts that they extend him for well 26 kms, from the beach of the Poetto in the place of Geremeas. These places are very famous because they represent destinations aspired for tourists that by now they arrive from the whole world. Among the most suggestive we remember Cove Regina, Pintau Seas and Cal'e Moru. The third zone is the mountainous part, that extends him toward east north and it reverts in the territory of the Park of the Seven Brothers.
