The villa was completed in 2007/8 by its English/Gambian owners. It is set within its own compound on a quiet street in Brufut fishing village. The 2mtr high walls are draped with beautiful flowers. Double gates lead into the property and there is ample space for parking. There is also a seperate gate for pedestrian access. Adjacent to the house is a Bantaba which is ideal for a quiet drink as well as shelter from the midday sun. The garden areas are fully paved and landscaped with container plants. There is also a brick built barbeque to the rear of the property as well as an additional seating area. The house is entered via a verranda which spans the width of the house. It is finished to a high standard with furniture imported from England. The master suite has a queen size bed, plus two single beds and fitted wardrobes, also has television and a DVD player and en-suite. The ensuite bathroom has a bathtub and overhead shower. There are two double bedrooms, Bedroom 2 has a King size bed, and Bedroom 3 has a double bed. Both double bedrooms have got fitted wardrobes. Bedroom 4 is a twin room with single beds. The lounge has a leather suite and occasional tables, satellite television, stereo and dvd player. Patio doors lead onto the verranda and all floors throughout the property are tiled. The kitchen is fully fitted with base units, full size cooker, fridge, microwave and water heater. All cooking pans, cutlery and crockery are available. There is a formal dining area with table and seating for six or an informal breakfast bar. The artwork throughout the property has been produced by the owner and is available for order in the UK.
Location of objectThe house is in a quiet street 5 minutes from Brufut Gardens and the 5* Sheraton Hotel.For a small fee,you may use their facilities.It is a 10 minute walk to the beautiful unspoilt beaches and 10 minutes by car to Senegambia where you will find an array of restaurants and night-life. There is also a English owned bar 2 minutes walk away named The Courtyard, which provides good home cooked English food, wi-fi connection and entertainment.

Additional InformationGuests receive a welcome pack upon arrival which includes bottled water, tea, coffee, milk and bread. There is also a selection of complimentary toiletries. The price stated guarantees sole occupancy, other rates for long term rentals are available. Laundry can be washed upon request for a nominal fee and Gambian cuisine can be cooked by our housekeeper Awa for an inexpensive charge. An airport transfer can be arranged for guests on request (payable locally). Please take into consideration that the mains electricity is paid by cash power card, we give you D200 on arrival, you can then top up the card locally for the rest of your stay.
