Description of objectDanish style holiday cottage from 2003 with high quality interior and much private sphere. Outside log walls, inside wooden ceilings, wall paper at the walls ,tiled floors. Suitable for elderly people, no stairs except for 2 stairs at the entrance . Children most welcome, 1 pet by appointment. Ideal hideway for a romantic weekend , a bottle of wine or sparkling wine awaits our guests and there is an excellent restaurant only 5 minutes by car from our holiday home.
The cottage offers 2 double bedrooms, 2 bathrooms , each with shower/WC, one of them with washing machine and tumble dryer, both of which can be used without charge once per week, any additional at extra charge ( 2,50 Euro per load for each device ) . There is one large room containing dining area ( corner bench with table and chairs), sitting room with comfortable relax-sofas and modern fitted kitchen ( stove, oven, microwave, dishwasher, fridge and freezer, coffee machine, toaster , many more electric devices and plenty od china, glasses, cooking utensils). Satellite-TV, radio with CD- and cassette player, toys, cots and high chairs on request, ironing facilities are part of the standard equipment. 2 doors lead to the covered terrace facing south. We provide garden furniture and barbeque facilities as well as a carport with storage room. The whole 1000 m2 site is entirely fenced .
Location of objectLocated directly at the edge of the village, the cottage with its veranda facing south offers nice views and much privacy. The cottage is built on a 1000 m² site in a quiet side road.

It is an ideal spot for hiking, walking and relaxation, but also central for touring the valleys of Mosel and Nahe with their wine , castles, boat trips and other highlights and the German Gemstone Street with the gemstone centre Idar-Oberstein, a trading place for diamonds and gemstones, where you can watch gemstone-cutting and search for gemstones in the visitor mine Steinkaulenberg. Lake Bostal for surfing, swimming and boat rides is 20 minutes away, Luxemburg and France are within easy reach, moreover you can visit numerous Roman and Celtic excavations, copper and slade mines, a summer toboggan run, a fun swimming pool, deer parks, an airplane museum and many other places of interest. Additional InformationFor 2010 the daily rate is 38 Euro for 2 guests plus 6,50 Euro for each additional guest . One toddler sleeping in a cot is free of charge. One dog is free as well . Our rates include bed linen ( beds are made on arrival) , towels, electricity, water, central heating and a welcome beverage . Final cleaning included for stays of minimum 3 nights, during German school holiday periods, we only let the cottage from Sundays to Saturdays for 6, 13 , 20 or 27 days.
20 % of the total rental rate is charged to confirm a booking, in case of cancellation we charge 80 % of the daily rental rate for each day of the cancelled period, in which the house cannot be re-let to anyone else. We recommend a cancellation insurance. |
