This is a property is a joy to live in. Set in the Fynbos with spectacular sea & mountain views. Very comfortable & relaxing living space, You will not want to leave. Sheltered patio for alfresco dining with Mountain View. Weber BBQ & garden furniture supplied. Open plan flow from kitchen to dining to raised living room & lg. deck over looking sea, fynbos & sunset. Fireplace, Satelite TV (own card), VCR & sound system. Fully equipped German style kitchen with electric stove, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, deepfreeze in garage & anything else you can think of. Two bedrooms both with twin beds. Main is en-suite (shower, basin & sep. toilet) plus extra bathroom (shower, bath & basin) separate toilet. 5 mins walk to small-secluded beach, 5mins walk to Harold Porter National Botanical Gardens www.nbi.co.za with lovely walks & waterfalls. 2mins drive or 10 mins walk to long sandy beach. Location of objectDirections from Cape Town: Take N2, turn right at Kleinmond turn off (R44) just outside Gordon’s Bay. Turn left at T-junction onto Clarence Drive to Rooiels (R44). From there, +- 30km of very scenic driving to Betty’s Bay. From Betty’s Bay sign +- 6kms to Espresso Leopard.Directions from Garden Route: From N2 after Caledon take Hermanus turn off (R43). +-10kms turn right at Kleinmond turn off (R44) after Kleinmond 13kms to Betty’s Bay & Espresso Leopard. Betty’s Bay is quiet seasonal holiday village, ideally suited to those who prefer outdoor living. Walking, hiking, swimming, surfing, cycling & sand boarding are the sort of activities that can be enjoyed here. There are lovely long silver sandy beaches, as well as a selection of small private beaches with rocks and rock pools surrounding them. These are safe and especially suited to children. Even in the busy season, the beaches are not heavily populated. Close by are the attractions of the Stony Point land-based Penguin Colony, Harold Porter National Botanical Garden & the Kogelberg Biosphere Reserve. At Stoney Point, the boardwalk makes penguin viewing a special treat. Of course, there are many other bird species to be viewed in the area. The walks, hikes, picnic spots and cycle routes in the Harold Porter Gardens and Kogelberg Reserve are spectacular. These wilderness areas form the central core of the Cape Floral Kingdom and are home to a huge range of flora & fauna species. The Palmiet River is also a favorite for swimming or canoeing. Betty’s Bay is centrally located with Cape Town, Cape Town International Airport, Hermanus & the Cape Wine lands all about 1 hours drive away. The Arabella & Kleinmond Golf Courses are 20 & 10 minutes drive away. Betty’s Bay, nestled between mountain & ocean is definitely a worthwhile holiday destination and a great place to get away from it all. Major shopping: 30-45mins to Gordon’s Bay or Somerset Mall or Hermanus. Basic shopping: 13kms to Kleinmond. Banks: FNB, ABSA & BOE. 2ATMS. Betty’s Bay: Two small supply stores & a petrol station.
