Brideswell Cottage is within easy drive of the Euro Ferry port of Rosslare. Brideswell Cottage is situated in a very quiet rural location. It was originally settled as a working farm in or around the year 1700. It has been carefully rebuilt in 2004 with many of the original stone features retained. The cottage is accessed along the original cart track which is some 750m in length. There is easy walking along the local lanes and forest tracks. More difficult walking is available in the Wicklow Mountains which are located approx. 25 km to the north. The sea, with a selection of fine beaches is located approx 25 km to the east.
Brideswell Cottage is a perfect base for a touring holiday, for walking, bird watching etc.
