Description of object

The cottage is situated mid terrace within a cul-de-sac, occupied by only two other properties. Vars is a rural village incorporating much agriculture, with many farms close by.

The accomodation comprises of:

Ground Floor - Furnished Private Patio, Conservatory, open plan living area,divided into kitchenette, dining area and sitting area (daybed can be used for sleeping third person)

First Floor - Large double bedroom with wardrobe and chest of drawers, Bathroom includes shower over bath.

Location of object

The charming coastal town of Royan is just over an hours drive away.

However, closer to home is the wonderful Cognac region, with visits to the big producers a must, the best being Courvoisier, Remy Martin and Martell.

Less than 12 Km away is the Capital of the Charante, Angouleme. This city really is spectacular. Perched high up on a magnificent hill top, the centre has castles, dating back to feudal times as well as Saint-Pierre Cathedral which is an excellent example of romanesque architecture.

For the more energetic there is a wide range of outdoor pursuits. The Nautilis complex offers an amazing experience - with water slides, Diving pools, water cannons, toboggan and ice rink. This complex is adjacent to Plan d'eau, which offers more outdoor pursuits including boating, swimming, a public man made beach and a host of sport fields.
