Tony and Marian would like to welcome you to their renovated Maison de Vigneron in the small winemaking village of Thezan les Beziers. Centrally placed within the Herault region for househunting, exploring the region or just lazing on the miles of sandy mediterranean beaches. 10kms North of Beziers they offer flexible rentals periods and B&B in this and a further 3 apartments within their home.

Location of object

Set in the beautiful and historic region of Herault, Thezan les Beziers is a small, typically French village surrounded by vineyards. Our home is an original Maison de Vigneron which has been sympathetically converted into 4 holiday apartments.

Just 20 minutes from the mediterranean coast with superb sandy beaches and 30 minutes from beautiful mountains the area offers excellent safe beach bathing, walking, fishing, river swimming, canoeing, seafood, wine, free naturist beach etc etc....

This apartment is an example of the 4 different appartments we have available. If it already booked or you require more accomodation than this please contact us. We offer longer winter/sping lets and weekend/short breaks as well as summer sun worshipping . If you are just passing through then we are happy to offer B&B for stays of one or two nights.

Within easy reach of the motorway network and a number of local airports offering at least 50 cheap flights per week from the UK/Ireland. Why not come and discover what this beautiful region has to offer? Examples of budget flights available from Ryanair, Flybe, Jet2, Easyjet, Monarch.

Town: France, Beziers, Thezan les Beziers

Set in the beautiful and historic region of Herault (department 34), Thezan les Beziers is a small village about 8km from the outskirts of Beziers. It is totally surrounded by vineyards and ideally placed for visitors to the region with magnificent beaches 15kms to the south and mountains and stunning scenery to the north. It is only 10 minutes from the A9 motorway which offer excellent communiation links to/from the UK.

The house is situated not far from the village square. The village contains a good range of shops including a butcher, baker (also a chocolatier), chemist, fuit and veg shop, general store, post office and there is a small market 2 mornings per week. There are 2 bars one of which offers homemade pizza to eat in or take out. Tourism has largely passed Thezan by and the village has retained its original local feel. The addition of a rack of postcards of Thezan in the newsagent is the only outward sign that the village has recognised the rise in tourism in the area.

Nearby include:
Mediterranean beaches to suit all tastes (from 15kms) ranging from quiet and secluded without facilities to busy ports with bars and restaurants.

Central Beziers (10kms) contains markets (including antiques), a tree lined centre with bars and restaurants, theatre and art galleries and excellent shops!

Parc Naturel du Languedoc (20kms). North of Thezan including gorges, caves, walking, swimmimg, whitewater rafting, cycling and fishing.

Carcassonne (100kms) is the largest fortified medieval town.

The river orb (3kms) for swimming, fishing or walking.

Additional Information

Please note that all prices include bed linen and bath towels. The apartment has WIFI and a TV with UK channels. We also offer our guests a 'meal in the fridge' option for their first night. A freshly made meal will be prepared and left in the fridge together with a bottle of local wine. Please ask for sample menus and prices.

We also require a security deposit of £100 for all apartments.

Prices are per week which normally runs from Saturday to Saturday during the main holiday season however we do try to be flexible so please ask. For rentals outside peak season, midweek bookings, long weekends and winter/spring long term rentals please contact us.

Arrival times are between 4pm and 7pm and departure is prior to 10:30am please.
