Description of objectQuinta Sol e Mar, meaning "house, sun and sea", was built in 2008 and provides three luxury holiday apartments for 2 - 4 persons. This stylish accommodation is situated on the edge of a beautiful orchard, whose trees bear fruit almost all the year round. Furthermore, the well-tended garden offers a variety of typical indigenous trees, shrubs and cacti. Stroll along the gravel paths through the orchard and pick fresh fruit for your breakfast! The entire premises, the 50m² pool and a large barbecue (with integrated oven), are shared by the guests of Quinta Sol e Mar, comprising of 3 apartments in the main house and the bungalow "Villa Romanzeira".Laranjeira (the „orange tree“) is located on th 1st floor of Quinta Sol e Mar. the apartment owes its name to the views over the evergreen orange trees with their luscious fruit and the fantastic smell of the orange blossom. There is direct access from all of the rooms to the partially covered patio with its breathtaking views in three different directions: To the north you can admire the interior the East Algarve, from South to West you can scan across the Quinta and through the trees you see the glittering Atlantic Ocean. The house-pool, barbecue and garden can be easily reached via the outside staircase. No matter where you are, inside or outside, you will be able to enjoy panoramic views. All rooms are bright and airy; The lounge with its sofa, chairs, fire place and a dining area for 4 is very spacious. There is a fully equipped kitchen with a small store room. Both bedrooms are tastefully decorated – one more modern, the other more rustic in design. It goes without saying that 2 bathrooms compliment this well appointed apartment. Location of objectThe Quinta is in a quiet, partly agricultural, partly residential area, which is part of the nature reserve „Ria Formosa“. The recently inaugurated “Ecovia” bicycle trail, passes by the Quinta. From here you can take scenic tours along the coast. There is a wide variety of bird species in the lagoon and salt flats where you can observe flamingos and other rare birds. This is a real attraction for birdwatchers from around the world. The “Ria Formosa” is located just 400 m from the Quinta. It is particularly interesting at this point because the tidal flatlands can be easily crossed on foot at low tide. Fishing boats lie high when the tide is out and the typical Atlantic oyster beds can be reached in about 20 minutes.There are some wonderful secluded beaches between the lagoon and the open sea which extend for over 50 Kilometres. You can also take the ferry to the island of Armona from nearby Fuseta and enjoy the beach and sea there, too.
