Location of objectScuol lies in the 80 km long valley of Engadin that starts (ends) near Tirol and ends (or starts) in Maloja close to Italy.
South is Italy on cykling distance for the adventureous, and north lies Austria on trekking distance. Along then valley the river Enn flows, starts near St Morits, flows through Innsbruck to Passau and into Danaue.
The language spoken here is very ancient - Romansch, but German, English and Italian is widely spoken.
Town: Switzerland, Swiss National Park, ScuolScuol is a year-around resort between St.Moritz-Livigno and taxfree Samnaun, 1300 m above sea level. Motta Nalun has 80 km well prepared ski-pists, and you can do a 10 km straight go from the top down to the village. There are several cross-country tracks here, the longest 28 km along river Enn to the border. Scuol is well known for it's healthy springs and we have a nice Thermal Bath here and the first Roman Bath in CH.
Scuol is popular for Trekkign and Mountain biking, the National Park MB marathon takes place here yearly.
The village has very typical building style - Engadin hauses.
