Description of objectThe geographical position of the LivingApple is ideal for visiting the famous "cities of art", Naples, Pompei, Paestum, Amalfi Coast, Sorrento, Capri, Rome. But we would like to stress that the visitor to Rome must not limit himself to the city. There is a circle of surrounding hills with abbeys, monasteries and temples which all form part of the texture of ancient Rome and Latium, whose countryside blends little by little with that of Campania, as we go south, before reaching the famous bays of Naples and Salerno. LivingApple, in the land of Aeneas and Ulysse, is the ideal place to spend an unforgettable holiday at a very special price!
Location of objectThe LivingApple is a family business, situated in a sunny position in the Gaeta Gulf, among Rome and Naples, near the the old city-centre of Minturno (ca. 700 mts). Furthermore LivingApple is not situated on the main road even it is very close to the most charming spots of Gaeta Gulf. LivingApple is a convenient point for walking (along the beach or in the mountains), biking and shopping. The bus stops are 1000 m away. Scauri is only 1,2 km away and here you can find everything that you will need; pharmacy, travel agency, supermarket, bank, post office and restaurants. The railway station (Minturno-Scauri) is 1,5 km away. For the sportsmen we can give advice on the area, free maps showing the best tours, detailed weather forecasts, as well as bike/windsurfer rental, bike repairs and windsurfing.
Town: Italy, Scauri, Scauri di MinturnoScauri/Minturno is situated in the most southern parth of Latina province, at about 80 Km from Naples and 150 from Rome. Its territory is bounded by Tirrenian sea, on the South-West, by the river Garigliano (which is the boundary betwenn the regions Latium and Campania) on the South, and by another valley nearby the Aurunci Mountains on the North. Minturno has ancient origins, aurunche and Roman. The current “Comprensorio Archeologico Romano di Minturnae”, with the Theatre, represents the proof of the roman ancient village, with the temple, the republican Hole, the imperial Hole, tabernae, the macellum and the Antiquarium. In the Minturno medieval center stand out for traditions and history the baronial Castle, the churches of S.Pietro, the SS. Annunziata and of San Francesco, and the use still not completely abandoned, from the older women, who wear the custom of the “pacchiana”.
