Puerto de la Cruz is the largest tourist city in the north of Tenerife. In the east it borders La Orotava and the west to Los Realejos.
The Plaza del Charco for its typical Canarian local restaurants and international known. Here are often concerts and live music. The popular beach Playa Jardin and at the Lago Martiánez (both of the famous artist César Manrique) can be designed wonderful days onthe pool.
Impressive is the botanical garden, the 1788 from Spanish King Carlos III was created. The Loro Parque is always worth a visit, not only for Papageienliebhaber, because there are always new attractions and animals. 25 Years ago it started with the parrots and there are now also dolphins, whales, a penguin-landscape and much more.
The Taoro Parque can of beauty many endemic plants enjoy. End of 19th century was the luxury Grand Hotel with an impressive Taoro Park was completed. Here is also located the english church.
