Description of objectEnjoying an elevated site on the edge of the popular coastal village of Pissouri, Apartment Aliana is an attractive 2-bedroomed apartment which can sleep 4 in air-conditioned comfort.Tastefully appointed with quality modern furniture throughout, it has a walk-in kitchen, equipped with fridge-freezer and washing machine. The kitchen is linked to an open-plan lounge/diner by means of a breakfast-bar and there are excellent views through the full-width sliding French windows over the large full-width balcony. The apartment has free wifi and The 2 twin bedrooms are well appointed with fully fitted wardrobes and matching furniture; one has direct access to the balcony via French windows. The balcony has an dramatic, panoramic outlook primarily to the south and southeast providing uninterrupted views of the coastal and inland areas. The shared use of a nearby, secluded pool (open from April to October inclusive) is less than one minute’s walk from the front door. Access to the unspoilt beach at Pissouri Bay is a pleasant 5 minute descending drive from the village. Car parking is provided in front of the property. The apartment benefits from a TV (with access to live UK TV schedules) and DVD player in the sitting room, a radio and CD player in the kitchen area and free wifi throughout. Welcome pack provided, including milk, bread, butter, tea, coffee, fruit juice. It is possible to manage without a car as there is a very good taxi service in the village - example charges around C£6 return to Pissouri Bay, C£30 return to Paphos airport. Free calls to arrange taxi locally. Sorry no smoking permitted inside premises. Location of objectThe holiday beaches of Latsi and Polis are about an hours drive, and to the east of Pissouri are the quieter beaches of Melanda and Evdimou; both with lovely beach restaurants popular with the locals. Paphos is a World Heritage site with an old harbour and some wonderful Roman archaeological sites. The stunning Akamas Nature Reserve is to the northwest of Pissouri, and the dramatic Troodos Mountains are to the north. Water Babies will love Fasouri Water Park which has one of the largest selection of attractions on the island; and for the golfers, there is a choice of several courses, the nearest only 10 minutes drive away.Town: Cyprus, Limassol/Paphos, PissouriPissouri has retained the atmosphere of a typical Cypriot village. There is a good choice of tavernas and restaurants in the main square, and the dining is al fresco by the bay.
