In the historic centre of Ortygia (Siracusa) is the holiday accomodation Torres 2, a stylish newly restored studio apartment in a beautiful Palazzo just a few steps away from the main square. Ideal for a couple wanting a comfortable base close to bars and restaurants in one of the most beautiful towns in Sicily. Siracusa is also an ideal base from wich to explore the south-eastern part of the island.
Turn the corner at the bottom of the cathedral square of Ortygia and you find yourself in front of a beautifully restored 18th century Palazzo. Inside, the lift in the marble-clad stairwell takes you to the top floor.
Through the door and into the apartment you are greeted by a large living space (about 30 m²) with a fully equipped cooking and dining area, and a sitting area with sofas, tv and hifi. A large window leads out onto a balcony overlooking a quiet and characteristic backstreet. The bathroom is well appointed with a tub and shower.
The high ceiling of this room have allowed the construction of a large mezzanine level with a very comfortable double bed.
The apartment was completely refurbished in 2003 with inspiration from two young architets who have left a very modern and welcoming space.
Just outside the door, a few steps take you to a roof terrace with panoramic views of Ortygia.

Very central location in the heart of Ortigia (historic center of Syracuse). Few meters away from piazza Duomo and Aretusa fontain. Beach available on summer few meters away.
