Description of objectThis apartment is located in the famous Villa Gaeta which is situated directly to the lake 2 km far from Menaggio. The position is unique thanks to the panorama that the area offers and the because is very quiet.Apartment Gaeta is at the first floor and it has private access and lift. Inside a nice living room with original wooden floors and cealing leads into a balcony, kitchen is separate from the living area and then upstair the loft accomodate the bedroom with the bathroom. The garden of 5,000 square meters leads into a private beach where you can lay and relax at the sun or swim in the lake. Garden is well mainted with a lots of flowers and tropical threes. Given its strategic location, you can quickly reach Milan, Switzerland and many other places of interest. Como is the nearest city in which you can visit a lot of monuments and do shopping, it can be easily reached by local bus and ferry. A place of interest it is also Cernobbio with its famous and elegant villas like: Villa d’ Este, Villa Erba and Villa Pizzo and Comacina Island the only island on lake Como of modest size but full of history, it is possible to visit the Island and the church on it, there is also a nice restaurant where you can taste the freshwater fish. In the middle of the lake there is Menaggio a very nice and characteristic place. In Menaggio you can find the lido with 2 pools, camping tennis, a mini-golf and the centennial Golf Club di Menaggio & Cadenabbia with its 18 holes. Opposite to Menaggio, by ferry, you can reach Varenna and Bellagio “the pearl of the lake”. Definately worth a visit is Villa Carlotta in Tremezzo with its famous garden and history. In the summer time the lake is illuminated of many fireworks festivals which are very suggestive. All the villages are connected by local bus, during the summer time there is also a nice train which connect Lenno to Menaggio all the day, and of course the ferry!
