Situated in the old 17th Century “industrial” zone of Lisbon as you can still see by the street names (Combs factory street, Gun Powder factory street, Silk factory street etc.) later transformed in a cozy and exquisite Quartier (the Ritz and Meridian Hotels amongst other luxury Hotels are situated in the neighborhood). The apartment is in walking distance from Bairro Alto an historical Quartier where are located the must “in” bars, design and fashion shops. You can also walk to the Baixa (Downtown Lisbon) with all its cafés and shops. Around the corner are the Arpad Szenes – Vieira da Silva Museum two of the most important XX century painters and the Water Museum with its Mãe d’Agua, both located in the Jardim das Amoreiras a pleasant Garden with a children playground and a beautiful Kiosk that opens in the summer as a Café.
Just beside the door is Patio da Bagatela with its International and traditional Restaurants and Cafés. There is also a small grocery shop around the corner as well a Pharmacy. For bigger shopping there is the Amoreiras Mall 5 minutes walking distance. Concerning transportation you have a direct bus from Lisbon Airport (#83) or a taxi (8 euros approximately) if you come with a car there is a paid parking space just at the door (8 euros maximum for 24 hours or 0,30 euros for 15 minutes). The Underground station Rato in the Yellow Line is 3 minutes away.
