Location of objectAppartment in a free standing house, second floor under the roof (stairs outside to the separate entrance), appartment and roof built in 2003/04, situated very calm in a dead-end street, overlooking the Rhine plain, surrounded by gardensTown: Germany, Nordschwarzwald, LaufLauf is a small village with about 4000 inhabitants. It is situated in the Northern Black Forest between Freiburg and Karlsruhe at the foot of the mountain Hornisgrinde (1164 m high). In town we have a castle ruin, a reservoir, start-ramp for paragliders, a lot of possibilities for walking/hiking and biking in the plains or on the mountain. The ski-area northern Black Forest is just a few kilometers away.The next big city (pop. > 30000) is Baden-Baden in 25 km. There you will find a golf course and three times per year a big horse racing festival (see: www.baden-galopp.de ->English)! Another golf course is in Urloffen just 20km away. The French border is just 15 km away, so you can make a trip to Straßburg and the Munster and go for shopping to the Alsace. Also enjoy a trip to Freiburg and the Munster or to Karlsruhe. The famous and biggest German theme-park -Europapark- is just 60km away!
