Description of objectThe Finca el Rincón, situated between banana plantations amidst the green region of the Orotava Valley on the coast - also referred to as 'El Rincón' -, offers a location with a unique combination of advantages: With its 'own' coast - with breathtaking views of the sea - and two sandy beaches practically on the doorstep.
Location of object'Rincón' means quiet corner. Here you can still enjoy peace. There are no cars or factories between here and America. Here you can still enjoy the air.
And yet you can reach Puerto de la Cruz by foot along a beautiful path close to the sea in about half an hour, and by car in about 10 minutes. There is also a public bus stop close by, and taxis are cheap.
The Finca is partly left as nature intended, partly kept as a nature garden with different types of fruit tress, a small banana plantation - all organically grown -, palm trees, pine trees, araucarias, tabaibas, flowers, a pond with a barbecue and picnic area, meadows for sunning, a swing. 4-leaved clover grows next to the pond.
Town: Spain, Teneriffa Nord, La Orotava - El RincónThe small town of Orotava, to which El Rincón belongs, has a historical town centre, old houses with beautiful wooden balconies and idyllic courtyards, pretty squares, and an interesting historical park. Promenade Puerto de la Cruz has an older part with an idyllic 'plaza' and a small harbour, picturesque seaside promenades, an architecturally distinguished park with sea water pools for bathing, the 'Loro Parque' - an animal adventure park with the largest collection of parrots anywhere in the world -, an interesting botanical garden founded in 1788, and a 9-hole golf course offering golfing lessons. A bit further on there is an 18-hole golf course.

For every additional person in a studio or a regular apartments there is an additional charge of 10 € and for an extra person in a large apartment we would have to quote 15 €. The price for the final cleaning at the end of your stay is a one day rental fee, in case of differtent rates the lower one.
Discount for a stay of 4 weeks or more 5%.- We charge 50 € per apartment for arrival at the Finca between 10 p.m. and 7 a.m. as well as for changing details of your reservation.
Included in the price: Hot water, light, electricity or gas for cooking, bed linen, towels (but not beach towels), change of bed linen and towels as well as cleaning (with the exception of dishes) after each week. Gas or electric heaters are available although normally not required. (Gas heaters may not be used in rooms where people sleep.) |
