Description of objectThe holiday cottage is of a former farm. The little former farm in timber framing is build between 1600 and 1620 and therefore nearly 400 years old. The apartment has been organized for at most 4 persons. These can be two couples of a family with children. The fitting up is as follows: Living/bedroom, a separate kitchen, a bedroom and a bathroom with WC. The apartment has also a garden of its own with furniture. The apartment is situated at the outskirts of the “Kaffeberberbos” with documented wandering paths. With the apartment comes a separate closable recovery. The recovery is suited for stalling either 4 bikes of 2 motorbikes.
Location of objectThe apartment is situated in “park Gravenrode” (the tourist area of Parkstad) at the outskirts of the “Kaffebergerbos”. With a car you can visit within minutes Gaiapark, Mondo-Verde, Industrion, Snowworld or a D’r Pool. With little effort you can make daytrips to Maastricht, Aachen, the German Eifel or even the Belgian Ardennes.
Town: Netherlands, Park Gravenrode, KerkradeKerkrade is situated at the Dutch-German boarder in the south of the Netherlands and is famous of the WMC. At a four years interval the World Music Contest for bands, with 20.000 contestants is held in Kerkrade. In Kerkrade you’ll find the “Industrion” a museum of Industry interesting for elderly and children. Since 2005 exists the GaiaPark Kerkrade Zoo after a preparation of 2 years. In Kerkrade it’s also possible to take a ride with a vintage steam locomotive. In Parkstad, a cluster of municipals in the region, is situated “Mondo Verde” a must for everyone who loves gardens, “Snowworld”, the largest indoor skiing facility (even in the summer you can ski on real snow) and “Kinderstad Heerlen” a great indoor (10.200m2) attraction city.
