Description of objectFully furnished apartment (52,5 m2) with balcony, 2 rooms, kitchen, shower + WC, suitable for 4 - 6 persons. Equipped with stereo, TV, dish washer, microwave. In one room a double daybed (sofa convertible into a bed for two persons, shown in picture 2) in the other (picture 4) a loft bed for two persons and a double daybed for 2 persons (the red furniture under the loft bed). The rent is 750,- EUR. Deposit of 250 euros has to be made upon reservation and 750,- euros are payable upon arrival. The deposit will be returned upon your departure if no damage has been done. In case of cancelation until 2 weeks before arrival date,EUR 150,- will be paied back. In case of later cancelation, we need to keep the EUR 250,-.
Location of objectThe apartment is at the border between Kallio and Alppila, two districts in Helsinki. Kallio (literally 'the rock') is separated from the city centre by a bridge called Pitkäsilta. This is the only notable bridge in Helsinki. It marks symbolically the divide between the centre and Kallio. Kallio was the area inhabited by factory workers. The district's seedy reputation grew steadily and nowadays it attracts people from all social classes. Finland's President, Tarja Halonen, used to live in Kallio before her election. The distance to the centre of Helsinki is about 3km and the bus stop is in front of the building. To the apartment belongs a parking slot in the backyard.
