Description of object4 double bedroom duplex self-catering apartment in Haute Nendaz. Sleeps 8 adults and 2 children, there are no bunk beds or sofa-beds. With 120m2 of living area, and another 40m2 of balconies, the apartment is spacious. There are several balconies with stunning views over Nendaz and across the Rhone Valley far below. Fully refurbished, the luxury apartment is tastefully furnished and very comfortable. There are only 12 apartments in the chalet which has a lift, laundry room and allocated parking space.
Location of objectLe Cret is in a quiet location just a few minutes walk from the town centre and telecabine. The views from Le Cret are spectacular, and the bedrooms are only overlooked by the mountains. Migros and the Co-op supermarkets are close by, and the free ski bus runs round the village during the winter. Postbuses run regularly year-round between Siviez, Nendaz and Sion. The chalet apartment is a perfect base for walking (there are 100km of marked bisse in this area), hiking, swimming, and mountain biking - something for all the family.
Town: Switzerland, 4-Valleys, Haute NendazHaute Nendaz is a thriving mountain resort, and is situated at 1500m high above the Rhone Valley. Geneva is a 90 minute drive away, and the nearest railway station is 12km distant at Sion.
Nendaz is in the heart of the Swiss 4-Valleys with 410km of pistes in winter, and is totally transformed during the summer months as a base for hiking and mountain biking. There are many bars, restaurants, 2 discos/nightclubs, shops including 2 banks, 3 supermarkets, clothing & sports shops, bakeries, and of course chocolatiers! There are several festivals including alpenhorn and a bier festival during the summer.
The main Telecabine runs from Haute Nendaz up to Tracouet at 2200m, and from there ski-links to Verbier via Siviez. The lift systems re-open June to September, and bikes may be carried free.
