Description of object19,00 Euro is for one persons per day, for 2 38,00 Euro, for 3 57,00 Euro, for the fourth bed we charge you 10,00 Euro more. If you come with children please ask for a special price. For the final cleaning, it doesn’t matter how long you stay, we would like to have 25,00 Euro.
The house was built in 1771 on cellars built in 1629. It is very charm and comfortable. In summer it’s nice and cool because of the thick walls of stone, in the wintertime it’s nice and warm because of the central heating, the romantic wood stove and the warm wooden floors. The apartment has 2,5 rooms and is about 89 m² big.
Location of objectAround the village you can find a beautifull landscape for walking, cycling, mountainbiking, riding and jogging. A few kilometers away is the small river “Jagst”, beside the river is a small paved road for biker, inline skater and jogger. Canoeing is allowed on the most parts and there are wonderfull spots for bird-watching. Even swimming in the river is possible. Many people do, because it’s one of the cleanest rivers in Germany.
Town: Germany, Odenwald Neckartal, GundelsheimThe village is between the soft hills of the “Krumme Ebene”, that means something like “bended plain”. It’s an area between Mosbach and Heilbronn, a small elevated plain, with the Neckarvalley in the west, the Jagstvalley in the south, and the Schefflenzvalley in the east. In the north begins the “Odenwald”, a big forrest area north of the Black Forrest. Between the soft hills is our little village of Bernbrunn situated, 30 years ago a village of 6 farmer families. Even today two families are still farming. One of this old farm houses we bought a few years ago. We renewed and restored everything over years.
Gundelsheim is an old town on the Castle Road. Between Mannheim and Prague are many castles to visit and a lot of them are in our area. Some are prepared as a good restaurant and invite you for dinner, a good beer or a famous German wine.
The south part of the German Framework Road leads from Mosbach into the Neckar Valley, touches Gundelsheim, to the Black Forest as well as the town of Meersburg on Lake Constance. In our place you have the opportunity to live in an old Central German Framework House.
Closed to us is Bad Wimpfen, Bad Friedrichshall (Public salt mine), Mosbach, Eberbach, Hirschhorn, the „Katzenbuckel“ as the highest point of Odenwald Forrest, Buchen, the caves of Eberstadter, Moeckmuehl, the Limes (UNESCO), Osterburken with the Limesmuseum, Jagsthausen (Goetz von Berlichingen), Schonthal Monastery, Oehringen, Neuenstein, Waldenburg, Marbach, Bietigheim, Besigheim, Brackenheim, Eppingen etc. etc.
A daytrip away is Rothenburg ob der Tauber (UNESCO), Schwaebisch Hall, Ludwigsburg, Stuttgart, Karlsruhe, Monastery of Maulbronn (UNESCO), Heidelberg, Weinheim, Wurzburg, Tauberbischofsheim, Bad Mergentheim etc. Our region has one of the mildest climates of Germany and our farmers in summertime often wait and pray for rain. But the wine of our region has a very high quality.
