Description of objectWe offer a large newly renovated (2011) apartment, suitable for maximum 10 persons. Three bedrooms, one with two a person bed, one room with two seperate single beds, and a bedroom with two bunk beds. In the living a new convertible sofa, suitable for two persons. New full equiped kitchen with dishwasher, espressomachine, etc. Two new badrooms, one with bath, other with large shower. Balcony is 100m2 and has a bbq on gas and teak garden furniture. This apartment with a fantastic sea view occupies a unique location on the Italian Riviera. Located in the floral village of Grimaldi, the last village before the border with France. 8 km from Ventimiglia, 3 km from Menton, 15 km from Monaco. 30 km from Nice airport.The view on a clear day extends to Antibes and the island of Corsica. From the entire village you have a breathtaking view over the sea, the port of Menton and Monte Carlo.The nearest beaches are Baia Benjamin, the beach of Grimaldi and “Balzi Rossi”. At distance of 1,5 km you reach the French city Menton. Here you will find a number of shops and restaurants. Especially during summer you can find daily festivals and flea markets. The city of Ventimiglia in Italy (8km), with the biggest attraction, the weekly market (Fridays) on the boulevard. Supermarkets and shops are within a distance of just 1.5 kilometers. The Nice Airport is 30 km from Grimaldi, which is about half an hour’s drive. Here you can choose from sun, sea and beach or a hike through the beautiful nature of the Ligurian Alps. In the vicinity you will find many picturesque medieval villages such as Dolce Acqua, Pigna and Apricale. The famous cities of San Remo, Menton, Nice and Monaco are easily and quickly accessible via the highway and a scenic road that runs along the coast. Beautiful sandy beaches (with opportunities for windsurfing, dolphin spotting, water-skiing and coastal excursions), intimate bays and impressive rocks all lie within 10 km. In the summer, the small towns in the area have typical festivals. Along the coast you can find good pizzerias and seafood restaurants. The famous botanical gardens of Giardini Hanbury (+ / – 2 km) are also worth a visit. At the end of May there is the famous Grand Prix of Monte Carlo, just 15 km away. And of course everywhere you will find shops where you will find typical Ligurian products such as pesto, wine and extra virgin olive oil.
