Description of objectThe detached house „Casa Bianca“, 120 sqm, for 9 persons, 1 km away from the farm ,which you can easily reach by car or on foot, consists of 3 double bedrooms, 1 three-bed-room, kitchen, living/dining room, 3 bathrooms with Jacuzzi showers, large balcony, garden with swimming pool from May 2010.. The occupiers of this house may of course use all facilities of the farm estate „Il Castagneto”.(tennis, swimming-pool, restaurant).
Location of objectThe farm estate has a size of 40 hectares, half of which is wooded and lies on the border of Tuscany and Umbria in a hilly, rural countryside amidst fields, vineyards and olive groves, approx. 8 km west of Lake Trasimeno. This place is ideal for families and people who wish to relax and to enjoy their holidays in the country.
Il Castagneto offers to all its guests: a swimming pool 8 x 20 m, a tennis court, table-tennis, a mini bowling and two small fishing ponds. In autumn the owner will accompany you and advise on picking mushrooms.
On request Mrs. Elsa, the owner’s wife, cooks typical Italian dishes for her guests, mainly with her own products. A complete dinner including drinks( wine, coffee, grappa) costs Euro 18,00.

Town: Italy, Val di Chiana, Foiano della ChianaPozzuolo Umbro, in the midst of rolling hills and gentle slopes covered by olive groves and vineyards, is situated in the greenest part of Umbria, close to the boundary with Tuscany. This part of the country, famous all over the world for the intense yet peaceful colours of it’s countryside, is bounded by lakes Trasimeno, Montepulciano and Chiusi each only a short distance away. Some of Umbria and Tuscany’s most famous cities are only a short drive away, Siena, Arezzo, Perugia, Assisi and Gubbio to name but a few. Within easy reach there are also many other towns, less well known but equally worthy of a visit. Montepulciano, Pienza, Cortona, Monte San Savino, Panicale, Cittą della Pieve and many more, all of great historic and artistic interest.
